Do you realize you're quoting a post from 8 months ago that has no bearing on the current situation? This post describes what is happening right now:

As far as I know, every other craigslist search site uses a Google Custom Search engine similar to ours, and all are having exactly the same problem right now. I've personally been in regular contact with the owner of adhuntr, who's a good guy, discussing the problem. Perhaps some of the sites just aren't being as open in communicating with their users. In fact, go straight to google, do a search for something on craigslist and sort by date. You'll see that you get some results for the past day, then a giant gap, then results resume around Feb. 28. Here are some posts on Google's forums describing the problem:

As far as other sites being faster, other sites by default return everything in one big list. We return results city by city because it's generally more useful. Of course, it takes longer because it means a separate search for each city. However, we give you complete control if you prefer it the other way. If you want fast, it's as simple as changing the sort dropdown.
Finally, as long as Google is not indexing, we have Direct Results mode and RSS Feeds for you to use. As far as I know, we're the only site that does, at least so far. I'm also working on an alternative using Bing, which I hope to have ready by tomorrow.
So... tell me again why my lame, ineffective excuses don't float?

I'm sorry, but when I'm busting my butt trying to work around a problem to give people the best service possible, I find this kind of thing a bit irritating.
