Re: Search Error

Right, no Google at the moment. We're almost done setting it up using their new API though. Should be ready by early next week I think.

Re: Single list results are missing matching keywords

We've recently (and hopefully temporarily) switched the Single List results to be powered by Bing instead of Google. Those same keywords should work for Bing, but it may not be interpreting them correctly. Does it help if you put parentheses around the two groups, like (shoeing|farrier) (truck|rig|b...

Re: Problem with Search Tempest

Until a couple days ago, our Single List results were powered by Google. Unfortunately Google just discontinued the API we were using to get those results. Currently we're showing results from Bing instead, which unfortunately doesn't support sorting by date. We're hoping to bring back Google result...

Re: getting NO Google results

Re: Search Error

Thanks for the detailed report. Looks like we updated our validation yesterday and accidentally set craigslist subcats as needing to be all letters, so any cat with a number in it (like w4m) fails. Will have it fixed momentarily. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks again for letting us know!

Re: Bookmark that will open to cleared default every time?

OK, I think there's something going on with the cookies cross-contaminating between the two domains. Basically what you'll want to do is clear all cookies from *.searchtempest.com domains. This link explains how to clear cookies from a single domain on Chrome or Firefox: http://www.thewindowsclub.co...

Re: Bookmark that will open to cleared default every time?

Hi, So first off, we realize this is an issue. We're actually working on a new version of the site, which won't automatically populate the form like this. Instead we'll make the 'Your Searches' section easier to access, with the most recent search highlighted. For now though, I would skip the autos ...
