How times have changed

I can remember when CL actually wasn't so lame, and would cooperate a little bit with the rest of the universe. I guess they got too big or something. Anyway, I used to be one of the biggest proponents of ST and used it daily instead of ever just going to CL. Now - I agonize every time I use ST, so ...

It looks like everyone else has same issues...

as I have. I have to page thru endless pages seeing "Nothing ..." or the ad has been deleted, etc... Geez - has anyone told CraigsList that they actually had a wonderful thing if we used ST to access their site? Now it's just freakin' useless IMO. I still use it, but cringe every time I use it, know...

Remove deleted postings from search

When I open many of the search results, I get the following:

"This posting has been deleted by its author."

It would be helpful if those could be omitted when the results are returned.

I tried omitting these using the "-", but it didn't work that way either.

Re: New Results Page ( 5/11/2012 )

Man - I really hate that CraigsList made a change without checking with SearchTempest prior to doing that. CraigsList is just okay IMO - SearchTempest is what makes CL easy to search. CL should work more closely with you guys to have a tremendous product. This is the second time I remember that CL m...

Re: Search with date filter

I think I'm saying the SAME thing - but here goes. I would like to have a filter box - similar to the min-max range for $$$ - that would allow the results to only appear in the event that the posting date of the ad is in that specified range. Leaving the END-DATE blank would default to TODAY. Ex. en...

How to select Outlook Express instead of Outlook

Without having to remove MS Outlook email, is there a way to have SearchTempest use my preferred email package - Outlook Express? I use Express all the time, but when I decide to send an email to someone using ST, then it opens Outlook and attempts to send. Of course I actually have to open the pack...

All I want for Christmas is...

the Enhanced version of Searchtempest back. LOL - hopefully CL will have a change of heart. They have a great product, and the Enhanced ST just makes it extremely useful. Why can't we all just get along.

Did you know...

that when using SearchTempest, and you decide to click on the red "X" to close that item, then you can no longer use the 'back' button to close an item? From that point forward, you must leave any opened item open, and cannot close it. Not a really big deal, but just an observation. This is using Fi...

Re: "Enhanced" search not working today

Actually - I think that new enhanced version DOES in fact cause more strain on their servers. It has to logically speaking. It's so easy to do wide searches, and MORE searches, in a short period of time. I'm as guilty of doing that as anyone. The enhanced version is GREAT. The older version is only ...
